On the evening of Sept 26th -the Senate Hot lined and passed the Senate version of the Orphan Works Legislation-
There are 3 versions of Bill Number S.2913 for the 110th Congress (read the bill)
This legislation, will change US copyright law and negatively impact millions of intellectual creators;from scientists to fine artists!~as well as every US citizen and small business..
There are two bills - one filed in the House H.R. 5889 and one in the Senate S. 2913.(passed)
Sep 26, 2008: This bill passed in the Senate by Unanimous Consent. A record of each representative's position was not kept.(www.govtrack.us)
